Legislative Scholarships

As a Delegate, Teresa Woorman has the privilege of awarding scholarships to District 16 residents pursuing higher education. She is thrilled to support the academic ambitions of District 16 students. To qualify for Delegate Woorman’s Legislative Scholarship, applicants must:

 

• Reside in the 16th Legislative District.

• Have completed the FAFSA by March 1.​

• Demonstrate financial need. 

• Be enrolled in or accepted by a Maryland college, university, graduate school, or private career/vocational school, either full or part-time.

• OR, attend or be accepted by an out-of-state school with a "unique major" not available at any Maryland institution, as determined by MHEC (allow 8 weeks to complete this application).​
